And what's with Snoop Doggy Dogg doing a pointless 20 second rap and pretending to appear in the video? He doesn't actually appear with them and the bit in the video where they're walking towards "him" is clearly shot with a dodgy extra doing weird stuff with his hands. What a sell-out!

I'm talking more about their puerile lyrics, shite dance moves, utter gutter trashiness (not even in a stylish way) and total lack of integrity rather than the overall quality of their music. Obviously there are probably a load of other "artists" (including Brooke Hogan...what the hell IS that crap?) who, musically, are just as bad and worse.

Rihanna isn't pop, she is R&B and Hip Hop. And panties lyrics? Please, those bands you suggested have sung about worse. i ought to also favor to point, The Who, the Rolling Stones, REM, and eco-friendly Day are all rock, no longer pop. second, you act like there aren't any undesirable pop bands even as the Beatles were round. it extremely is because human beings in ordinary words remember the Beatles, they ignore about the undesirable bands. Thirty years from now, when we in ordinary words remember the greats of this era, all of us will look decrease back and say, sheesh, look how astonishing those bands were contained in the 2000s, how did pop song sink so low?

The worst part of that ban is that it's 1 girl doing all the singing all the other ones are just there shaking. It's like someone asked them hey, you wanna be famous, just stand there and dance. It's stupid, 1 of them has a voice, the others just do nothing. Death to 7 people singing...

MTV pretty much ruined music as we used to know it.
When it became popular to visualize a song instead of just play it
They became three minute movies instead of songs.
Thats when musicians decided to get incredibly stupid and be actors.
Now they just try to outdo each other by adding more and more silliness into these videos.
Thus proving that technology is not always our friend.

I think they are awesome and I think what Snoop did was uncool. Like you said he only did a 20 second rap. I think the video/song would have been better without him in my opinion.
