Yep, watch Days of our Lives. Salem is full of people who have returned from the dead and a lot of 'different' things happen on that show

The Real World - it's kind of a soap opera. I love to hate people on the show.

I religiously tune in to All My Children and One Life To Live Everyday, even though as of late they have been lacking in creative or interesting writing. I grew up watching AMC with my mother and sisters, but I didn't get into OLTL until only 3 years ago. I was pulled into OLTL by the Walker/Todd story, and I was hooked ever since. Right now the best storyline on AMC is Who killed Madden. What a gruesome way to die, and all because Dixie refused to go to Tad, who could have helped her find their baby. Absolute nonsense. The best storyline on OLTL is the final stages of the war between Jessica and Tess, that and the beggining of Truman's downfall. Todd and Blair are going to bury that bastard, but, Truman will have one last laugh before he goes down...

as i am german i watch german soap operas.
"Unter Uns" (Meaning "among us" or "in private")
"Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten" (GZSZ, Meaning: "Good Times, Bad Times")
"Verliebt in Berlin" (Which is actually a Telenovela, Meaning: "In love in Berlin" or as well "In love with Berlin")
I think soap operas are funny because it usually takes the actors three weeks to move from one end of a room to the other. It just takes forever and you don't miss a lot when you are on vacation for a while.
The subjects they treat with are found in our everyday life (just that they are a bit over-compressed in a soap opera): losing family members, getting sick, being betrayed, etc.
It's relaxing. Soap operas are relaxing to watch. You don't have to think a lot. That is why I like them.

All my children, One life to live and General Hospital. Strarted watching when I was a teen because that's what my older sister watched but now 20 some years later. I'm still watching. Why? I've been watching so long now, their almost like extended family.lol

I love it couse the plot is always changing from problem to problem from love to love.
Like Diego and Roberta
they love each other and want to be together but they keep on making each other jealous and always tries to hurt the other emotionally because they dont want to love each other. but they do and you always sit there screaming at the t.v. because the'll almost kiss but then they pull away. Also because All the boys there are so HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

General Hospital I like it because I like the Quatermaine family fights. I like to see Sonny to protect everyone who falls in love with him.
