ya a lot of people know this they had a chance in 1966, and this year to at least make it to the finals. Now they have some young talent it's just a matter of time. oh just because Brazil isn't part of Portugal Doesn't mean we have to stop cheering for them, a lot of Brazilian fans were cheering for Portugal when Brazil got knocked and that goes for Angola too.

Portugeese fans can't make up their mind who to root for, they usually wave 2 Flags, Brazil and Theirs . When you ask why, they answer Brazil speak Portugeese , or their our family, you don't support it in any way? remember you conquered it that doesn't mean it's your family, You don't see Spain waiving 10 different flags,rooting for the rest of South America. Until you start to root for your own European Nation you may be reconized as true fans of a Nation, anyways you play soccer the same way, you have never won a World Cup or made the finals, maybe 1 day, 1st support your true team.....

yea, i know that. thats why it was very great that portugal won 4th place this time around despite being such a small country, and managed to put up great fights and knock quite a few big teams. they did well this world cup and im truly proud! i cant wait to see them again! specially now that scolari has decided to stay! viva portugal!

for such a small country to have reached the euro final two years ago, and now to have reached the semis of the world cup, it is pretty amazing. and they are in my opinion one of the best 4 footballing nations in the world. so whats the basis of this thread. you could say the same for most countries in the world cup.

WELL MAYBE IN THE FUTURE THEY WILL WIN, TIME WILL TELL, HEY ARE GETTING BETTER AS A WHOLE!!!
