I don't think all Arabs are terrorists. I am not Arab, but I do get mistaken for an Arab and I know what you mean about prejudice.
The smaller group of extremists (because they are a minority in Arab community, not because of the numbers) should not define a generality, but they do. It is a harsh reality.
It's like the KKK in the southern US, nazis in germany - people are scared because of extremists - does not mean that all germans and americans are like that, does it?

First of all, not "everyone" shares this belief, just as not everyone would agree with your statement that "arabs are the best."
You're free to root for your own town, your own football team, your family, your kids, your nationality, your religion but one would hope that you wouldn't exclude what's good about others when you do so, or help to spread misunderstanding of other cultures, countries or religions.
That said, there's a perception among many in the United States and, truth be told, in Europe as well, that most terrorists are Arabs. The reason for this generality - and be warned that generalities in themselves tend to be questionable - is that the West (that is, North America and Europe) - became familiar with modern terrorism with activities perpetrated by Arabs against Israelis and Jews. Some examples include the Arab terrorist attack on the Israeli team at the Munich Olympics, the hijacking of a flight from Israel and its eventual landing at Entebbe Airport in Uganda during the reign of Idi Amin, the Arab terrorist take-over of the Achille Lauro tour boat in the Mediterranean, and many others. Hence the creation of the generality that "terrorism = Arabs".
It has been pointed out, however, that statistically the greatest individual number of terrorist attacks in recent years have been located in Sri Lanka and attributed to attacks by Tamil rebels (the Tamil Tigers) against the non-Tamil peoples and government of that country.

actually people think all muslims are terrorists and people who look arab are too.
and its because other people give everyone a bad name so sterotypes begin. you can't blame people but it is infuriating when people stereo-type like that but then again look at what has happened
9/11, 7/7 now 7/11. Anyone else see a pattern?
And btw you too are being a bit iffy by proclaiming "arabs are the best" so if you asked this question more sincerely...

It's not that it is just that it seems most terrorists are Muslim or Arabic.
However American, Israeli, any people/society with an aggressive and political show of force, would also qualify.
The real problem lies with the media.
Definition of Terrorism:
The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.

for sure all arabs aren't terrorist, but when almost all the terrorist groups are relative to arabs, the reason is obvious.
of course for sure in this case, media has a key roll.
but remember, all people from each nation are equal, and there is no reason for being the best.

I doubt everyone thinks that Arabs are terrorists.I guess the problem is how Arabs are portrayed in the media.People assume wrongly that all Arabs are Muslims. They just don't know that we Arabs who are Christians,of course these are in the minority.
