Yes but I don't think the chickens would notice my hard work.

You may create an apple pie from scratch.

But if you put it in a box together with a radioactive atom and a canister of aggresive pie eating bacteria (assume the canister would be triggered if the atom decays)...

Does the pie really exist or not?

Pie Crust: 3 cups flour 2-3 tbsp sugar a million tsp salt a million heaping cup veggie shortening properly chiiled a million cup ice chilly water blend the flour, salt and sugar. reduce contained in the shortening till pea sized, slowy upload the water a dribble at a a time till pulls together. The upload only a sprinkle better. Wrap in seran wrap and put in the refrigerator a minimum of one million hour, or in one day. Now listed lower than are my assistance for buying a proper crust: once you've a sparkling glass pie dish use that it is the perfect. i am going to allow you to understand why later. conceal the completed to pie foil for roughly the first a million/2 of the baking time. look on the bottom of the pie pan. in case you will locate the bottom crust starting up to brown then it truly is time to take the accurate foil off. no matter if it isn't yet turning brown then go away the foil on longer. * in case you do not have a sparkling pie pan then purely bypass somewhat longer than 0.5 way or attempt to peek by technique of usuing a butter knife and gently pulling the crust faraway from the area, it doesn't always artwork yet now and again does. Ater the bottom starts to tutor brown the unver the accurate of the pie and bake till the accurate os golden brown. This facilitates to circumvent a soggy slimy bottom crust. you should pick to re-wrap purely the aspects of the pie in the journey that they are getting to darkish and the middle remains pasty white, so keep the foil waiting. Apple Pie Filling: i in my view use a mixture of apples. commonly some granny simths and and then what ever else sounds good even as i'm on the marketplace or what ever I actual have left over. I peel and slice the apples-no longer to skinny. keep the granny smiths seperate, and also you pick thsoe to make up about 2/3 of your apples. placed the different mixed apples in a sauce pan and combine your spices with some flour and sugar, then sprinkle over the apples. upload somewhat water or apple juice/cider. Simmer the apples till you've an effective gooey blend, and assorted it. let them sit back somewhat then upload to the different apples. let that cool better and placed it contained in the pie crust. you could also make fall aside topping of equivalent parts melted butter and brown sugar and easily adequate flour to make it crumbly. Sprinkle on the pie crust and bake. .

It sounds like getting the ingredients togother. I can make one from scratch but if I'm going to do that I'd rather get enough apples to make 10 of them. That way some go into the freezer. I'm baking homemade bread as I type. Not one loaf, but 6. I figure if you're gonna put effort into something you might as well make it a big one. Like the universe :)

Carl Sagan didn't know what "cooking from scratch" is.

Could you lift your own body in hands and carry along instead of walking down through a downpour?

I can't believe Carl Sagan was saying this...he must have been wisecracking and you actually took him seriously.

That is very deep.....
It almost makes me feel bad about saying that I make things from scratch.
