you ask a question which is troubling u or u r clueless abt something or watever which is bothering u. u wait for the reply anxiously. and u read this kind of message "i dont know abt tht but anyway,thanks for the 2 points". i feel some people dont care thier ans can change sombody's life, can encourage people, can suggest ideas but i think they want to b famous by earning points. its irritating to me. wat do u feel like doing?

I have the same feeling exactly, you know, some people underestimate other people's questions, because they are mindless, they only read the question as if they are reading a story, not getting affected that this is a real situation and some people are longing there for a good answer or for many answers to get the best which could help them to a great extent, it is not about points guys, what do you need points for???if you feel like you want to ask millions of questions no one will say no if you keep on asking only and when your points are out create a new yahoo account, and that is the least thing, i am sure that everyone seeing the question even if he is a fool, he has at least one idea or has his opinion, why dont you share it instead??
I hope that ppl will follow the correct way in answering the question, and thanks for raising that important question, it will really help

That bothers me too. When I answer peoples questions, I wait until I see a question that I can answer and that I think will help the person. I don't do it for the points, I don't need the points b/c I barely ever write a question myself. I do it to help people since I figure at some point in time I will need that same help. Thanks for posting this question. Hopefully it will get this across to the people who just do it for the points and don't give a good answer.

Some people are just jackasses! I feel the same way as you. I rarely ask questions because the smart *** answers are all that you get - maybe a normal response every now and again. But, I guess people think it is okay because really they are anonymous.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from. Unfortunately, in this forum there is such a huge variety of people just trying to earn points instead of knowledge. I try to ignore those who don't really listen to the question.

you are right and i don't know what the points are for or the accumilation thereof, but people do what they do because they feel they can get away with it without fear of consequence(s). me personally, i answer the questions as honestly and seriously as possible. if you continue to get the ignorant responses, please report these people so that they will know responding in that manner is not acceptable. I actually try to answer the questions. Part of it is that I don't even know what the points are for, so I don't care about them.

To be honest with you, Angelic, I quite agree with you. I want to really emphasize it here for our friends who are on this site that the aim of this device is for people to interact.
