Has anyone ever read this book?

Yes. It was issued in the 70's and written by "Anonymous" as it was based on a real girl's diary. She was on drugs it documented her deterioration into that world, which eventually killed her at the tender age of 17. It is very sad, but a good book, hard to read at time, but has good lessons for all teens to read and learn from.

There is a TV movie, which used to be played on many channels but not so much more, of this story, starring Jamie Smith Jackson which was fairly true to the story.

At the end, I thought everything was going to be okay, and then I turn the page and find out she died a few weeks later! It suprised me and made me sad at the same time.

i think so when i was a teenager...its a true story about a troubled girl and the author was anonymous right?
