When I was in high school I was given the nickname Foz for Fozzie Bear from the Muppets. When I got to college I thought, I can finally ditch this crazy nickname....but....yup.... some guy there thought I was funny and chose Foz as my nickname. I never told anyone in college that was my nickname in high school until AFTER it was given to me in college.
My name is Preston. A friend of mine noticed that I was down one day and started calling me DEpreston. That was 15 yrs. ago. Today, for no apparent reason, and I am not even depressed in any way, shape or form, a friend at work called me Depreston.
Is it destiny? Coincidence? The ball's in your court.

As much as it would be easy to shrug it off as two separate coincidences.. I'm thinkin since they both had to do with what you put out to people.. your words, your body language..whatever.. I think some more of the intuitive people that know you may have come to the same conclusion.. of yes..wrongly "labeling" you..but probably because they care..?.. I truly think you should either stand up for yourself and tell people you disagree.. but that may lead your friends if they are that to fight you on why you may remind them of that particular nickname.. maybe as well you should be claiming some better and positives nicknames in your own mind for yourself.. and project that out into the world
...the feelings that those adjectives make you feel..Good luck

It could be destiny, but they could have known someone who called you it.
