If the old TV show "The A Team" was made into a major movie - who would be your choice actors for the main characters? I figure some of those characters would be hard to replace with different actors.

Murdock - Ben Stiller/Jim Carey
Face - Brad Pitt/Ben Affleck
BA - Ving Rames (sorry, can't spell!)

Well I can tell you this...
I dont know if they have cancelled the project,
But a couple years ago they were working on a A-Team movie
At the time:
Mel Gibson: Hanibal Smith
Ving Rhaimes: BA Barrackus
Jim Carrey: Murdock (cant think of anyone better)
and rumors of either Brad Pitt or Leo Decaprio as FACE
However since then i haev come upon some articles that says differnt casts, and a differnt charector sheet... but same story line.
Oh and cameos by Mr T, Dirk Bennedict, and Dwite Schulz.
Sadely we lost George Peppard in 93

Hannibal - Sam Elliot
B.A. - Micheal Clark Duncan
Faceman - Matthew McConaughey
Murdock - Sam Rockwell
This is a realistic cast of actors a studio could afford, and could put a size-able budget behind, I think McConaughey is the perfect faceman, & Rockwell equally so as Murdock, I like Sam Elliot for his versitility and vetran experience as the leader of the A-Team, let's face it a lot of guys could do a decent B.A., but I like Duncan here for his presence & obvisous physical attributes, hell let's get this thing into production....

I would use the origional actors from the tv series. I think the film would be terrible if they replaced the origional actors.

well...either Michael Clark Duncan or Ving Rhames for B.A....Adam Sandler would make a good Murdoch, Brad Pitt or Matt Damon for Faceman and for Hanibal...none other then...John Travolta

BA Baracus - Will Smith or Chris Rock...? they'd have to bulk up though...!
