centripital force is just a force acting towards the centre.if a person was closed in a room without windows and accelerated in one direction it would not be possible by the person to tell in he is in a leniar motion and experiencing a pseudo force or in a uniform circular motion experiencing centripital force the similar argument was given by einsteen to explain gravity
