Fighting terror is like Hercules fighting the Lernean Hydra. The more you swing the sword and cut off heads, twice as many grow back in their place. To win, you must address the root causes of terror...social inequality, the failure of corporate interventionalist policies, supporting their maniacs and dictators, and the failure of forcing western liberalism on the Muslim world.
No army can do these things, only good diplomacy and policing of our own greedy corporations. Starting wars there so our rich can get richer does nothing for them or us.

Come on, don't you people get his loaded question. He's calling Americans simple. We were "simple" enough to stop Hitler's march across Europe and win the Cold War. You don't have to like us but a "thank you" would be nice!

Simple people? You mean mentally-challenged people like those who go around spewing stuff like "Bush is dumb", "No War for Oil", "9/11 was a conspiracy", or "I voted for Gore and Kerry"?
Luckily, enough Americans were smart enough to re-elect President Bush, and keep the simple people, like "I voted for it before I voted against it" Kerry, from having anything to do with it.
