Maybe China...wouldn't that be just wonderful. You wouldn't have to worry about Libs or Cons because we'd all be in re-education camps.

The fact is that the U.S. has made many sacrifices over the years to make the world a better place.

Personally,I cant see the world being any worse than it is right now. We enter unjust wars,are trying to control the entire middle-east simply because that is where the majority of the worlds oil fields are located. Yeah,China is a ruthless dictatorship,but are we any better? George Bush is fueled by greed,right-wing power mongrels,and just plain stupidity. If we dont wake up real soon,this country is heading for a total police state. The wheels are already in motion. Your personal freedoms are vanishing by the hundreds every year. Now police can come into your house without knocking,detain you without telling you why,detain you without allowing legal representation,spy on you with cameras everywhere,tap your phone,look at your personal data....would we be better off without the U.S being a super power? I would have to say yes...we would have to be. We are simply,the most hated country in the world...by a large margin. In a matter of 5-6 years we have went from being one of the most respected countries in the world....to being one of the most hated tyrannical governments of the last 50 years. Amazing isnt is?

Definitely yes, the Us is long over due. They go around deceiving there people and the world that they are helping people of which it is not. Every where they go is war, destruction, exploitation.Talk to the lay man in US,they all believe in money more than God. (material benefit) Everything on these guys is fake, they come to your land with junk foods and clothing making noise to the whole world that they are going to help but in the virtual fact aiming at exploiting all your natural resources, and if you refuse you find yourself in trouble. You 'll first of all be termed undemocratic and the next thing is they are going to find an idiot within your community brain wash him, give him arms to destabilize your community and while that's going on they can easily go ahead and take what they want. Sad the Soviet Unioun fell apart at least they had some one to challenge them. Hopefully China and Russia would rise and get rid of these guys if they don't want to quit the stage. US should turn round and take care of Their criminals, homeless,unemployed and immoral people. Too much for them to take care of at home so they better stop being fake

it depends who you are and your point of view.
there may be lots the US has done I don't agree with but as far as I can see there isn't any other country I would prefer to have at the top of the tree.
anyone who thinks China has a serious contribution to make has to be kidding. Mao Zedong was the greatest mass murderer in human history and the country has no middle class to speak of.
there's a powerful elite and then there's a huge mass of unspeakable working class people who have abominable manners. the country is only now moving to teach them not to spit on the floor in shopping centers. it's mostly the men who do it, and the mongrels will spit anywhere. big gobs of mucus.

The only other country I would like to see in power besides us this Tibet. The are very peaceful. Anyone else would do the same if not worse things then we do.

The way the U.S. could stop being a world power is if the developing world stop paying the debt they owe, WHICH IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY THEY ARE POOR AND THE U.S. IS SO POWERFUL
