first u find the sum of nos from 1 to 124 and then subtract the sum of nos from 1 to 32. u will get the sum of nos from 33 to 124. from that u subtract the sum of even nos from 33 to 124.
1. sum of nos from 1 to 124 = (124*125)/2 (use mathematical formula
(n*(n+1))/2. this formula is for calculating the sum of n numbers
= 7750
2. sum of nos from 1 to 32 = (32*33)/2
= 528
3. sum of nos from 33 to 124 = 7750-528
=7222
4. sum of even nos from 33 to 124 = sum of (34,36,38,40,42,44,46,48,50,52,54,56,58,60,62,..........124)
= sum of 2(17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25......62)
= sum of 2 (sum of nos from 1 to 62 - sum of nos from 1 to 16)
= sum of 2 ( 1953 - 136)
= sum of 2 (1817)
= 3634
4. sum of odd nos from 33 to 124 = 7222-3634
= 3588
