My 8 year old daughter is having a sleep over and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Corpse Bride are her favorite movies. Which would be most appropriate to show at her party

It depends on the parents of her friends...if you have any very religious people in the crowd they would be offended by "Corpse Bride" (because they think it is Satanic) although that would be the most entertaining choice for the girls. The safest choice would be Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Alternative choices if you would be open to them would be Ice Princess or Princess Diaries 1 or 2.

The Corpse Bride might be too scary for some of the other 8 year olds ~ I would go with Charlie & the Choco Factory

The corpse bride because it is exciting and has amazing art work and detail and it is funny and romantic comedy and an amazing ending! the other movie is just blah boring old ancient over rated

I think Charlie would, because it has very childish (in a good way) humor and catchy songs. Plus they can laugh at Johnny Depp a lot more when he is in Pale make-up and a top hat instead of as a claymation figure

Personally i'd want CATCF coz you can actually see Johnny Depp .... but for your 8 year old sis i'd still say that coz its a better film
