I need a politics dissertation topic!!!?

I'm writing my final dissertation for a degree in Politics, I am particularly interested in International Security and terrorism and have specialised in these areas alongside American politics and International Relations. Problem is, I can't find a dissertation topic! I know how to go about researching, but I need suggestions of topics for inspiration!!!

Here are some ideas:

-Port security both here and abroad.

-The US response and tactics used in the "War on Terror" against Islamic Extremists, Muslim Jyhadists, Religious fanatics, or whatever term you prefer to describe groups like Al-Queda compared to the Russian response and tactics used against Chechyan (I know I spelled that wrong) rebels.

-Airline security, focusing in on both the changes to US airlines as well as the established techinques of Israel's airlines.

-A comparison of US involvement in wars or conflicts over the years (World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Iraq, Kosovo, Afghanistan, etc). Maybe include public and internation reaction to US involvement or how the US included or exculuded the UN in each military action.
