Okay I already posted this question once but due to people's responses I have decided to repost with more accurate information. I am currently attending a Bible college because I believe God has called me to become a youth pastor. I have been working 40 hours and sometimes more in order to pay for my school bill. However, the bill is becoming a lot more than I can possibly make. So I had this idea to start asking churches to support me. The plan is to start with local churches asking each individual from each congregation to give me just one dollar. As soon as I acquire a couple hundred dollars I would then use that money to send out dvds to churches asking them to also support me by each individual giving me a dollar. I would use a blog to update my supporters and the money would be sent to my local church who would then send it directly to my school in the form of a scholarship that can only be used for school related expenses. Do you think it could work? One dollar from 20,000?

Hello Wild Bill. Your idea just might work. There's a sucker born every day. So all you have to do is ask for money, and some will send it to you--that's an almost iron clad guarantee. Oh, and incidentally, I think you're an inept budding con artist. Could be wrong about my assumption, but I don't think so. Your "Wild Bill" choice of names doesn't exactly project the image of a future "youth pastor." Also, informing your audience that you've asked this question before, when your history shows no incidence of ever asking any other questions, makes it clear that you may have been on this forum before (and were probably booted off) only to come back again.

If I were a Christian, I wouldn't go for this.

"I am currently attending a Bible college because I believe God has called me to become a youth pastor. I have been working 40 hours and sometimes more in order to pay for my school bill."

Really, poor you. You are fortunate enough to go to school, you should do this on your own. Are you eating...have a roof over your head? Then you have exactly what you need.

Stop crying "poor me". There are alot more people out there that are needier and worse off than you.

I know that with God all things are possible! So if you feel that this is something that God wants you to do, then go for it. If His hand is not in it, then walk away. Remember that Satan can even make the best intentions look better than what God has for us.

All things are possible to whom that believeth. Don't underestimate the power of prayer. Ask God to help you. Don't ask us...
