Charley Barrett threw a 58-pitch complete game in 1944, helping the Braves beat the Reds 2-0. Pretty phenomonal.

I don't know, but back when Greg Maddux was still with the Braves, he threw a complete game two-hitter with 86 pitches. (ironically, against the Cubs)
