No because he wouldn't understand the criticism - even if he became aware of it.

I live in Texas, and yes, there are times I am concerned about public 'anti-bush' displays.

Before the last national election, I and many other people had our Kerry signs stolen from our front yards. Larger signs near our house, along the side of the road, were vandalized. I feel there was a real danger of my house being vandalized.

If I wear an anti-Bush shirt I often get stares and leers from people in stores, etc. I won't put a political sticker on my car for the same reason, fear that I will come out of a store and find it keyed.

(I don't feel this way when I am in Chicago )

Yes, it probably is. In much the same way as it would have been hazardous to criticise the Nazi government administration's policies if you lived in 1930s Germany. That doesn't stop it being your duty as a human being. Bush is a liar and a murderer of thousands of innocent people. That isn't a "criticism", it is a "fact".

Bush needs critism, but more than that, he needs to start listening to some of it. He is a large cause of the Middle Eastern mess right now and why the world is not such a safe place anymore. Bush is getting criticised the world over. Why not join in as he makes it so easy to do

Our Constitution is a wonderful thing. Maybe you should read it sometime. And you might stop asking these stupid questions. You have the right in my country to criticize our leaders. But then those who don't agree with you have the right to criticize you right back. Especially when the truth is on our side. That's not dangerous or hazardous. That's democracy! God bless America and OUR President!

Not for me as I am lucky enough to live in a free country, if I lived in America however I think I would have been arrested by the FBI long since as I think Bush is a terrible president, for the rest of the world as well as America.

I sincerely hope that right wing Americans have learnt their lesson and that no one like him will EVER get in again.

No. When he is out of office, his former friends will be criticizing him too for the mess that he left in the Oval Office. George Bush is an idiot and he deserves to be criticized and I would rather live somewhere else then feel any level of fear for critizing that imcompetent joke of a President. C'mon Republicans let's hear your defense, I would love to see someone try to defend this guy.

I'd rather have a President that screwed his intern, then one who screwed his country.

Criticism is normal in politics. If you can't take the heat, then you should have picked another line of work.

I doubt that the President pays very much attention to his critics, though, as many of them advocate following extreme paths that go against his beliefs and the beliefs of the Republican Party as a whole.

I think that this is why our military exists. To prevent others from making it dangerous and hazardous to criticise the government!

We are struggling with a war on terrorists on many fronts. Our leaders and our brave soldiers need all of our support. Unfortunately there are a few Americans that talk like they would like to be somewhere else. I say help them go. It wont take long and they will be running back. I can think of several choice liberal dems and one or two "want to be republicans" that need to be somewhere else. For starters Gore,Peloscy, Clinton [H], Kerry&Mccain.

I live in America and must admit saying things against the president or the government today is not the same as it once was. Anyone who thinks it is is living a lie and dreaming of the freedoms we once had.
