Did you know that at least 5 of them are still in Saudi Arabia alive and well? How they pulled off that trick the world will never know.

I think Cheney and the other PNAC neo-cons mislead us completely on 9/11. Rumsfeld got his "new Pearl Harbor" that he always wanted. Funny thing though, Pearl Harbor falls into the category of "preventable but allowed to happen". Its strange that he would use that analogy.

Everybody knows that. At least everyone paying attention. Saudi Arabia is however an ally, albeit a shady one at best. Our intelligence indicated Saddam had weopons of mass destruction, which he did at one time. It is also a state sponsor of terrorism, just as the Taliban was and is, and just as Lebanon and Iran are. By the way, you realize that the Democratic superhero Wild Bill Clinton could have and should have had Osama killed. We don't do that anymore because that is wrong. Actually, it is because we have too many pansy liberals in positions of power in this country. The assasinations and dirty work the FBI and CIA used to do may seem underhanded, and it probably is. The bottom line is that we were much safer as a nation as we were doing it.

19 of them were from Saudi Arabia. But where did they get the financing and training? Until we went into Iraq and broke up Al Queda, Iraq bore much responsibility for the 9/11 deaths.

Did you know that the "Son of Sam" serial killer's first name is David? Does that mean you should be charged with murder BECAUSE YOU HAVE THE SAME FIRST NAME?

Did you know that Al Capone was of Italian heritage? Does that mean that all Italians are in the Mafia SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY ARE ITALIANS?

Did you know that Congressman William Jefferson was found with $90,000 in bribe money in his freezer? Does that mean that all Black or Democrat Congressmen are corrupt SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY ARE BLACK OR DEMOCRATS?

I don't see the point of your question.

I see that you didn't get the point of my answer. I also see that my answers were too subtle for you, so I added SOME STUFF THAT MAKES MY POINT WITH A SLEDGEHAMMER to the original answer.

Yes, I know that most of the hijackers were Saudis. However, I don't blame an entire country for the acts of a FEW of its citizens.

If you have PROOF that much of the Saudi government was in on the plot, then I'd say that we have a problem with Saudi Arabia that needed to be addressed with a few B52s, F111s and M1A1 Abrams tanks.

Yes, some of the alleged hijackers were found to be alive and kicking at Saudi. It is all about the oil. Because whoever controls this resource that the world needs will control every nation. the oil is running out, surely an american who uses 25 barrels of oil per annum will realize that it's empirical to his/her lifestyle. So the need to take over the largest oil field in the world is imperative in the current administartion's agenda.

mohammed atta was a playboy. he used cocaine and had sex with women. not a very devout muslim. he was also a big player in the cia/taliban heroin racket

bushco just set these guys up to take the blame for 9.11. the taliban and the cia used the poppy fields to fund the mujahadeen and the cia. then america wanted to build a pipe line thru afghanistan to export caspian gas and offered the taliban the same deal as the saudis. just give us the gas and you can be kings of afghanistan. but the taliban didn't bite. they were as religious as they made out to be and stood up to the united states

but the US just threw a sloppy case together to accuse a few arabs and have excuse to start a war in the middle east and they can get away with it because 99% of the US public is too lazy or stupid to look up the facts for themselves or they just don't care

There were Saudis, but if you did a little research or a little reading you would have know that they were all Al Queda and trained in Afganistan. Thats why Afganistan and the Taliban who supported them were targeted. It was the belief that Iraq was also helping Al Queda, but the other reason to go into Iraq was to find the weapons of mass destruction that Sadaam Hussain was hiding and planning to use, according to the intelligence.

I thought it was 14 were from S.A. 1 Yemen and 4 from Iran. don't forget that we tracked the money that funded the 9/11 attacks through S.A. and most of them were trained there too. As for Bush misleading us, of course he did. Let's not forget that he has been usurping as much power as he possibly can under the guise of national security. megalomaniac is a good term to label him by.

I am from New Hampshire. But I now live in Florida.

Where you are born doesn't pertain to this topic. Afghanistan was the former headquarters of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. We went there first. Then we attacked Saddam, who had been violating international treaties and attacking US planes, as well as defying the UN.

They might have been from there, but they were members and took their orders from a terrorist ring who's leaders operated, were supported by and were based in Afghanistan and Iraq, you have to take out the source.
