For the Girls: DO You Shave or wax your *****. Which is better?

Wax is better. Make sure they are using the hard wax, not strip wax. Shaving causes the hair to feel more coarse, whereas with waxing, when the hair grows back its very soft and thin. Waxing also lasts a lot longer.

I would be afraid to get waxed from a wax machine where others have used out of it, because of disease. sometimes light bleeding occurs when waxing and some technitions have been known to double dip into the wax with the same stick. I'd stick to the razor. There was a segment on the Tyra Banks show on this subject that u might try to look up on the net.

I shave but I must just say that I had a nasty experience last Summer, where one of the hair follicles in my groin got infected, ended up with a cyst on my...bits n bobs, had to get it out for about 3 different docs at the HOSPITAL while they discussed if to operate or not!! Was NOT pleasant and they said it was probably caused by shaving so now, I leave it til it gets really desperate THEN sort it out. Just a word of warning! :O)

i tried waxing once and that will be the last time too. It hurts so much! Much prefer to shave

Waxing is a lot better. You don't have to do it as often as shaving and it does not leave you with razor burn.

Wax is much much much better but it is really painful especially for the bikini area. it is just easier by shaving. both has posiitives and negatives. if you wax, you are free for almost a month, if you shave, it is almost a daily job.

I just trim mine up. I haven't tried waxing, but shaving is a pain. When it comes back in it just itches and it becomes so irritating.

I usually just trim it, but sometimes I'm feeling crazy and I go for the wax. Makes it nice and smooth

I shave or use Veet ( hair remving cream ) It doesnt last as long as waxing but it much less painfull.
