Well, Government DRAFTED me into the ARMY during the Vietnam war in which 1 out of 10 people were comings back dead or with missing limbs.

Now, as you can see I'm a little biased!

God passes the plate and you chose to put money in or not. I get a pay check and Government takes out about 1/4th before I even get it!

You lose your job, your apartment, you're car and have no money. Maybe you haven't showered in a week. You walk into a government office and tell them about this and they have you wait in a room all day, fill out forms, get interviewed by someone who tells you that you will get a decision on your stuus for Welfare and Food Stamps in a few weeks, come back to get the answer. If there are any immediate programs you MIGHT get a voucher that day,but that's rare! Usually you have to wait for processing and evulatuion.

Now, you go to the Salvation Army, or some Mission on the Streets or any church and ask the head guy if they can help, they make a decision on the spot. Maybe they hand you a broom and ask you to clean things up to see what you'll do. If you clean things up yo might get a bed, shower and food. Immediately.

Of course resources are tight, alot come from how much pepople put into that plate that they don't have to.

God is not here to help you. God declared you must toil from sun up to sun down.

All government is here for is to take 1/4th your paycheck, emnent domain your house when they need to build a parking lot and tow your car when you don't carefully notice the signs or have an out of date sticker somewhere.

When push comes to shove you take care of you.

The guestion is, who do you trust more, God or Government?

Remember, I got DRAFTED into the Vietnam war. Taken out of my job. My salary got reduced by 75% Government would not take care of my apartment for me and if you give it up how much MORE does one cost in 2 years? When I came out of the Army 18 year old girls who didn't get drafted were my Boss, making more money and getting promotions I couldn't apply for because I was in the Army.

I don't recall God every doing anything to me like that!

Like I said, I'm a little biased!
