anytime between the hours of 7am and 11pm providing it is played at a reasonable (not loud) level otherwise you will have the the local council noise abatement office come round. If the next door neighbour lessons are to loud make a note in a diary and complain. Or just ask them to take in pupils later. Also see if she is registered to work from home.

It depend when your next door neighbours get up/ go to bed. In general after 8am and before 10pm seems reasonable and would fit in with most peoples working pattern.
You should try inviting your neighbours round for a cup of tea and a chat and discuss the hours you both keep so you can agree reasonable "night time" hours to keep quiet in. If you both try to be reasonable I'm sure you can find a compromise that suites you both and will save any bad feelings in future.

Unfortunately, this is within the legal hours of noisy activities :
The Noise Act 1996
This law enables local authorities to measure noise, establish whether it exceeds a "permitted" level, and, crucially, to silence main offenders. The law was introduced as a means of controlling raves, so it's especially effective when it comes to party-like cases that occur between 11pm and 7am. It allows the noise people from the council to order offenders to shut the hell up immediately, have their sound system confiscated, and/or face a fine. Note that the law is only effective if your local authority has chosen to implement it.
Your best bet is to contact your council to see what your rights are, or just play her at her own game for a weekend and see if she gets the message.

9-10 am. There must be municipal laws in your city that say no noise before and after a certain time. During the day, it's all about your tolerance ( meaning you could make a complaint if it's too noisy for your tolerance ). In some cities, you cannot even make noise at all on sundays...call your local police station for informations.

24 hours a day, preferably on a Spinal Tap amplifier that goes all the way up to 11. I have no neighbours anymore since I began this policy and therefore I'm free to do what I like!

I know it's different but you can't use a car horn between the hours 23:00-07:00 - that's noise so I assume 07:30 is ok.
Also in your opinion your music is decent but maybe too her it's not and vice-versa

Sounds like it's time to have a talk with your neighbor, that failing, if she's engaged in a commercial activity in an apartment, file a complaint with your landlord about the noise and people coming and going at early hours.

My advice to you , would be to play your music as loud as you like , whenever you like .... when they complain remind them about the noise coming from their houses over the weekend .. Remember- whats good for the goose is good for the gander
