They definitely deserved it they played their hearts out! They overcame missing star defender Alessandro Nesta, the match fixing scandal in Italy and that penalty kick made by Zidane in the 7th minute of the World Cup final! They beat Germany with two remarkable goals in the 119 minute and 120 minute, the Australia game Totti knocked in a beautiful shot and the Ukraine game Luca Toni had two amazing goals, Italy held strong and they came on top! They absolutely most definitely deserved the victory!

NO WAY IN HECK DID THEY DESERVE TO WIN!!! the only reason they even got to the 1/4 finals was because of a cheap penalty kick call by a totally effing retarded ref!!!! i think portgal deserved to win this world cup...and NO i'm not a portugal fan ...i was routing for brazil, until i realized portugal deserved it so much more than them.

nope, nada, never, no way! They did not deserve it as Mattrrazi is the one who provoked Zidane and got him kicked out. That's why Italy won in the penelty shot-out. Just like when Rooney got kicked out on the Portugal vs England match. That's why C.Ronaldo was so happy. I'm sure the Itallians were happy too when Zidane was out.

They made it to the Finals, and that itself is not easy, Plus the beat Germany with two great goals, so they deserved it.
