Wow, where to start? There is an entire world of cutting tools out there. You need to narrow your inquiry to a type of cutting tool. Cooking, Industrial, Home improvement, Agricultural, Lawn and Garden, Offensive, Artistic, these are all types of cutting tools. Any tool with an edge, basicly. In machine shop work, it is the piece that removes a shaving from the piece being worked on, and is of very hard metal.
