I don't know, I would have to decide on the spur of the moment. Like if someone was about to be shot and I could save them by jumping in the way and taking the bullet then yeah I think I would just instinctively do it for anyone of my close friends or family. But if you came to me and said 'Your brother is doomed to die but you can donate your heart and lose your own life to save him' I think I'd have a tough time deciding who should go...

I would die for those I love (my parents and my partner) but then I think of the heartache they would face every single day of their lives when I am gone knowing I died for them - and I think that maybe that burden is worse then dying. So perhaps, if faced with that situation, the greater burden to bear would be living.

i dont know, am i weird or heartless, but i dont see why i should since "death is lighter than a feather whilst duty is heavier than a mountain", id rather myslef suffer the consequences and the depression of having a loved one pass away then they have it of me. To experience a close family member's death is very tragic and heavy and makes your life seem meaningless, i could not put these feelings onto one of my family members.

i would prefer not die for some one else, even if i luv him or her soooo much. my life is my life. love is all about not depending on each other.. love is like nurturing each others life to help the mental and physical growth process. it does not include death. love has nothing to do with dying for each other.. only craxy people would die for each other. not because of love
