Human Beings are suppose to be the highest form of intelligence on this planet. We have had over 12,000 years to figure it out and to get it right.

Why do we not recognize that it is, All of us, or none of us?

We are all still "animals", fighting for territory and dominance. We are not that removed from our primeval roots and a lot of this stuff is hardwired into our brains. In a micro sense, just look at your work or your group of friends. Certainly someone in either of those groups is dominant, even among supposed equals.

I like your way of thinking, but we are not there yet, and may never be.

We are anthropocentric creatures...thinking only of our personal wellbeing and those of our immediate neighbours or of the same kind. It's awful. If I were a Vulcan, I'd skip this planet.

You've got it exactly right.Unfortunately,Humans are individualistic in thinking. We tend to think what's best for me,not what's best for Humanity.
I do think we are slowly changing from that mentality toward a world outlook.

I think you are really simplifying something that is much more complicated that all or none. You seem like an idealist, which is nice but not practical.

Cause our brains evolved when we were living in small groups isolated from everyone else not in our group.
