A good book is this one, read it because I was having difficult times with individuals with personality disorders. Emotional vampires, you can find the author on the net, searching for the title in chapters. A good boss manages his/her employees, and bad boss is a control freak that acts like a psycho. Individuals with personality conflicts or disorders, are ones that cause problems in workplace and are always disliked by others because employees talk about them behind their backs due to the stress they cause every one. Bosses expect the best from their employees, but some are worse than others when it comes to common sense or doing things that they don't want to do themselves. Good luck....read on the topic, and figure out what your feeling, and move on to another job to avoid stress with this types of individual. It never gets better if they are a psycho, and maybe there is some thing you'll read to help you understand some people are just like that, and others have no clue what they do to effect others. It's difficult to answer a questions without the details, and in any case, feelings that cause stress hurt us.

Be respectful, (ask him in private) "Were you an abused child."
Then when he says anything at all you reply.
"I am wondering because of the way you act towards me.".
I did this once and it completely turned the person around.
Not only for me but for the whole plant.
The dope told his "Friends in the office" and before the day was over everyone was asking him if he was abused as a child.
It seemed to make an impression upon him.

Ask him if he lives in a deserted Motel and does he dress in his dead mothers clothing, just out of interest.

You can figure it out just watching their acts. Or read anything they've written.
