Well be careful is first thing might want to try a beard trimmer to start with to shorten the hair prior to shaving. The only issue I have personally experienced is sometimes a rash from the shaving or an ingrown hair afterwards, and also it itches like mad after it starts to grow back.
Be careful

Use one of those bikini line creams from the store. I know it's for women but who cares anyhow.. Or but some lotion and baby powder on afterwards. It will be itchy in a few days so you want to be putting the powder and lotion on. The powder helps so you aren't sweating and getting sticky. The lotion helps treat the skin. Be very careful down there.. Some like to shave on the toilet or in the shower. Best of luck to ya

My man does it. Its great.(no hair in your mouth) He uses a hair removing cream for that area in question. A cream will over time soften your man hairs and would be prickly when growing back. Go for it, but make sure you have a nice "you know what "for us Lady's to be looking at.
