Is it possible to miss your period or become pregnant after stopping your pill?

When my husband and I decided to have our 3rd child, I came off the pill. I stopped taking the pill after my period and didn't get my next period until 39 days later. I am always a 30 day cycle person. It took 2 months for me to regulate and the third month I was pregnant. So coming off the pill can affect your period. But that doesn't mean that you aren't pregnant. Every woman is different so their body reacts differently to coming off the pill. Also, I was 35 at the time which also can affect how your body reacts.

Yes it is very possible. I quit my pill June 14th and now 1 month later I missed my period had implemntation bleeding and got a positive test result ( the line was very faint) last night. I am going to the Dr. today for a second opinion. I will let you know!

Yes, it is possible that u are pregnant. But it took me a year after stopping the pill to get pregnant. I hope all goes well for you.

Yes, it is possbile for both to happen. The pill contains doses of the female sex hormones estrogen and progestin that are directly responsible for controlling menstruation & the body's response to conception, etc. Irregularities in your period are more than possible, as is the possibility of getting pregnant.

It usually take a few months before your menstrual regulates itself after the pill. However, if you are really worried about pregnancy; take a preggie test.
You should NEVER engage in sexual activity unprotected. And not just because you can become pregnant but with today's STDs, why risk it!

If you've been having unprotected sex then it is possible you are pregnant. The only way to know is to get a pregnancy test. As convenient as it would be, the Internet cannot tell you if you are pregnant or not.

just wait you should be OK and most likely not pregnant but you be who knows take a test or talk to your doctor

anything is possible whem you stop the pill you should just wait and see your doctor
