My father was born with a deformed stump that had bumps on it for fingers. When my aunt said "Hide the hand." at his funeral I wanted to slam the coffen lid on her head. My father's bowling average was a 294 and he played the trumpet and baseball. I thought it made him special. He did more than most people did with two hands.
