I went with Huggies for my newborn twins they had to have preemie diapers and Huggies were the best. I always found pampers like to split at the top if they went to much and all the gel stuff comes out then it is a huge mess. Luvs are great when they get older but the don't make preemie diapers that I know of at least I couldn't find them. I nenver trusted wal-mart brand the one time i used an off brand to save money it was a disaster. Hope this is helpful. I vote huggies for new born and Luvs for older. I did forget I did use papers swaddlers in preemie so I have to take it back but pampers now I wouldn't use they leak all the time.

I use Pampers. I tried Huggies, Target, Luvs and Pampers. Pampers fit great, move with my son, don't leak, and he doesn't pee through them in an hour. I used Pampers Swaddlers until he grew out of them, and now we use Pampers Baby-Dry. I buy them at Target (cheapest non-sale price), and most packages come with a coupon in them.
P.S Pampers Swaddlers have a cut-out for the belly button so they fit better and you don't have to fold the top of the diaper down.

I alternated two different kinds to keep my babies from chafing. I found that the cheaper store brands are usually just as absorbent as the more expensive brands. Also, the cloth feeling types tend to gap at the legs and tummy. My "usuals" were Luvs and Pampers (depending on what was on sale) and a store brand to alternate with. Some of the store brands can tend to feel a bit like rain gear. I would note those and avoid them.
If you find that your child is prone to diaper rash, try changing diapers more frequently. Keep a supply of Desitin -- stinky but effective. Also, your druggist is likely to have a recipe for "butt paste" that will be your security blanket for severe rash flare-ups. (Some rashes can result from allergies or other problems, so always consult your pediatrician if there is concern.)

I use Huggies. Every baby is different. With some it doesn't matter what you use. Then there are kids like my son. I've tried EVERY brand on the market. Huggies is the only one that doesn't give him a horable but rash. My advice is to just try all of em. Your baby will let you know what is best for him/her.

i love pampers!! no leaks ever. walmart brand are cheap and you get what you pay for. luvs are horrible too, they leak like crazy. the only time i used luvs was when my son was just born. they have the newborn diaper that is actually cut to go around the belly button so you don't have to fold. once his cord fell off, i stuck with pampers!

I started out using Huggies Supreme (they were the nicest diapers but they leaked) and ended up using Pampers Baby Dry (they didn't leak and you get more for your money).

Huggies works all the time it's a bit expensive here in Trinidad but it really lasts the night and it's not big and bulky on babies like the cheaper brands

well for my baby sister we use pampers because huggies are very narrow in the middle area... sum of our friends also had this problem. Some pple switch off w/ diaper brands. you should try all of them, and see which one is better for your baby.

I liked using Pampers for my son when he was first born... I started off with Huggies but they would fill up fast and leak thru to his clothes...When he turned one I started using Huggies Supreme...Your best bet is to just try them all out and see which one you like best...
