Could be the year 1998, or Oldsmobile made a model called the Delta 98

If you are referring to the year '98, take your choice.
If someone says, "I have a '98". they may be referring to an old model of Oldsmobile. The '98 was the muscle car that GM built from the '50s-1960s. I can't remember when it went out of production.
That car ran like a bat out of hell. About 500 HP.

Oldsmobile offered a full-sized car as late as 1996 referred to as a "Ninety-Eight".
