I wouldn't trade for Iverson personally unless I didn't have to get rid of any of my critical players, meaning anyone that has a bright future (Green, Jefferson) or any starter (West, Pierce, Gomes, Wally, Perkins) What's left after that? A bunch of rookies and Telfair. I trust Danny Ainge though and if it comes to dropping off a couple players I think Wally and telfair and maybe another player might be ok. Delonte is critical though, he can play the 2 after AI comes and his defense is pretty amazing as far as shot blocking for his size. I think a lineup like this AI, Delonte, Pierce, Al, and Perkins would be very physical and very quick. A mix of veterans and youth. They would also have an amazing bench, depending on who they get of. Might be fun to watch. All the way into June.

First you're the in basic terms one questioning that, 2d if I had to apply a similar mentality of "if" if this if that then Kobe should be the superb participant ever, what if he did not Shaq? did you recognize the way many extra factors he ought to have scored is his occupation, Iverson became the in basic terms movie star for the sixers he's no longer one in all those participant that ought to fit right into a team, team's were given to slot round him, he couldn't even win a playoff sequence in Denver with Melo. protection enable's talk about it premiere in scouse borrow does no longer mean you're great defender, Wade, Lebron etc have great stats steals smart yet there're no longer 1/2 the defender Kobe is, Iverson ought to no longer also be in that communique, he not in any respect locked all people down like Kobe has through the years, I propose he's a 9 situations all NBA defensive team yet you won't be able to admit he's excellent, BTW this became voted by journalist from around the country. Dude supply up it!

If all the other pieces remain in place, I think they could advance in the playoffs. That being said, I think Iverson is a risk. I'm always waiting for that guy to just go off the deep end and do something that takes him out of the NBA altogether.

Maybe. They have a decent all-around team right now. It depends on what they would have to trade to get him. Ricky Davis and Paul Pierce are valuable and they shouldn't trade either one for Iverson. AI's a good player but for a team to win the playoffs he needs help.

No, Iverson is a great talent but hs is the kind of player who plays well himself but never makes his team better. He had his one big run and it was all Iverson. They might have had a chance if he knew how to play team basketball.

Iverson and Pierce can't work together because they both want the ball, neither like to pass, therefore they wouldn't even make the playoffs!

No Iverson will never make it far in the playoffs because he is a ballhog.

not unless they good a good center...iof u noticed most championship teams have a very good big man or center...i think iverson should be traded to team where theirs an established center like swight howard or amare stotamaire....the big man swing man theme always works....u saw it with magic and kareem kobe and shaq wade and shaq...ducan with ginobli and parker...pistons with ben and billups....jordan with pippin and rodman...if any team wants championship...a good big man with a talented shooting or point guard is like da blue print

no because they have to many young guys who have no playoff experience.... pierce and AI would have to carry the load then things would get rough for the celtics
