No it won't help and you really shouldn't be trying to induce labor at 34 weeks. Your baby still has a lot of developing to do over the next six weeks so just let it be.

I have never heard of masturbation causing labor. Having sex can cause labor. Another labor inducer is walking and lots of it. However I would wait at least another 2 weeks before doing anything like that. you are only 8 months at 34 weeks. Wait till 36 weeks than....have fun and congrads.

Why do you want to induce labor at 34 weeks? You need go at least to 38 weeks.

The doctors say its the orgasm that can help bring on labor. So with that said, sex or masturbation that causes an orgasm can help. When I was pregnant, sex put me into labor with two of them. Good- luck

Actually they say that having sex actually prolongs your gestation period by 3-4 days. I dont know about masturbation, though. Try walking a lot, and extremely light paced activities.

There are rumors to that effect,,, but me and my wife were like rabbits during her both pregnancies and she always had her pocket rocket in her robe pocket and both our children were over a week late... Good luck

You can have sex up until your water breaks or you lose your mucus plug. So, I would'lnt worry, you can masturbate.. I don't think it would induce you though. Doctors do inductions now..

It did me. Once my husband heard my Doc say "the head is right down there should be soon" he wouldn't touch me. I was soooo ready to be done that I did it my self.
