I am trying to download music off of my computer to my ipod and I have the USB cable hooked up, but I dont know how to get the song onto my ipod. I am new at this!

Your iPod must be registered for use with that copy of iTunes, once that's done its a simple case of copying the selected tracks directly to your iPod from within iTunes.

Well, if your iPod and iTunes were working correctly, as soon as you connect the iPod to your computer, it should do it all by itself.

you download it into itunes and then you import it into your ipod.
