I think Spain played very well. They are a young team. They are an offensive team so it is a pleasure watching them.
On the game against France Puyol had a bad game and they made a big mistake pushing the defense in line to force the offside, that's what the Brazilians call 'defensa burra'. Henry got them confused twice by playing a passive offside whilst Ribery (1st goal) or Vieira (the play that originates the second goal) were in legal positions receiving completely unguarded.

I think they played excellent in the group stages and until they ran into france. They dominated ball posession in the game but still couldn't score. Still, they are a young team and have a lot going for them. I'm sure they'll kick *** at the 2008 european champs and 2010 world cup when they're more matured. Got some great players too: Torres, Fabregas, Reyes. GO SPAIN!!!

Spain is made up of a bunch of arrogant players and a racist coach! They didn't play well enough to make it to the finals and that's all that matters; France shut them out!

Of course they did play well but facing a strong team like France it's kind'a a bit to hard , they just got unlucky to face France in the quarter finals.
