I've recently purchased a 42'' Plasma TV, I plugged my Playstation 2 into it, and when I started playing the games, I noticed that they were quite blurry. I checked the settings on the TV, it all seems fine, also checked the settings on the games, nothing I do seems to work. Anyone have any ideas as how to sharpen the picture? I already changed the sharp setting on the TV itself. and the ratio settings. Any help would be appreciated. :)

What plug you using?

Try using a component cable, don't use composite or s-video.

None of those solutions is right, even in spite of the indisputable fact that "weary" comes closest. first of all, you have already got a DVD/CD/Blu-ray participant so i'm undecided why you got a house theater in a field (HTIB) gadget it somewhat is per yet yet another DVD participant. HTIBs per receivers grant you greater growth and connection thoughts. There are 3 methods of "sending" audio out of a PS3, yet to achieve this which you're able to desire to first connect it to the living house theater gadget. a million.) HDMI cable - besides the undeniable fact that, using HDMI demands a receiver that methods audio over HDMI. lots of the greater much less high priced HTIB structures do no longer, so i will assume it somewhat is the case right here. 2.) RCA cables - those are the purple and white tipped cables that comprise the PS3. you do no longer desire to apply those as a results of fact they'll in basic terms deliver 2 channel (stereo) sound. you like encompass sound, so which you would be wanting to apply... 3.) Optical cable - this could "deliver" encompass sound (i.e. 5.a million) on your receiver. connect them with an optical cable and then regulate your audio output settings interior the PS3 menu to "optical" and "bitstream". finally, replace the enter on the HTIB properly and you'd be in business enterprise. If that HTIB would not have an HDMI or optical cable option, which curiously like it would not, then return it for a gadget that does.

Also make sure that the Playstation is set to progressive scan. It will allow the system to put out a stronger signal, and will help with the picture.

Good Luck!
