Spray it down with "De-Solv-It". You can find it at Walmart. Spray down all surfaces, top and bottom. Let it sit for a day, clean it and see if you need to do it again. Once should be enough. I will go by and check it and spray again if it seems dry. I try to keep the De-Solv-It moist for best results. Good Luck, curry is a tough one to get rid of.

You can put some dry baking soda in the container, and/or some crumpled up paper towel or newspaper - snap on the lid, and they will help absorb the smell.

That was the original recommendations give out at Tupperware parties a "billion" years ago.

Place a bit of water in the container and add Vanilla Extract(it can be imitation as well), just a teaspoon full. Leave sitting overnight and the smell should be gone. This also works for fresh paint and fish smells in your house.

I'm not sure if this will be healthy, but I would try Nil Oder. A tiny drop works miracles! The down side is that it may contain harmful chemicals that would prvent you from using the container again.
Nil Oder is found in most drug stores (in Canada)

Lemon juice or bleach. If it is just a cheap plastic container, you might just wan tto throw it away if the funk is so strong it won't come out.

You are probably going to have to get a new container. That odor has been cooked into the plastic.
