They were a part of the "grunge" movement, & no not Nirvana. They also recently put out another album.

Pearl Jam by far was the best group of the 90s and now.

Peal Jam. I'm listening to Binaural right now actually. That album is highly underrated. The guitar effects are spectacular.

I'm glad at least some people can accept the fact that Nirvana was not as "groundbreaking" as the media and MTv portrayed them to be.

Alice in Chains and Soundgarden come close, but Chris Cornell loses some credit for being in Audioslave, which is abosolutely horrible.

In my stupid and useless opinion, Sublime was the greatest band of the 90's. I bought their "40 Oz. to Freedom" and didn't take it out of my Cd player for 3 or four months.

They most definitely didn't put out an album recently however.

I have every Pearl Jam album ever made by the way, Yield is my favorite.

Pearl Jam? That's the only band that comes to mind, though I respectfully disagree.
