I would say my own worst enemy is myself, I am an alcoholic pot smoking procrastinator , I don't believe in myself and I don't care, I do care but things just seem pretty damn futile to me, I am 33 years old, no longer a teen anymore, what the hell happened? just yesterday I was gettin some gettin some, and now I am breaking my back and getting old and working in a factory busting my a*s for 314.00 a week I wish if I were going to have to bust my butt and break my back the way I do I could be gettin some money and gettin some booty and well drinking a beer and smoking a stogie and living large like I feel I deserve to, strange, life doesn't always turn out the way you want it to, oh well, at least I can still afford the things in life to take me away to delusions of grandeur, I am my own worst enemy so when I tell you all that I don't need your help trust me, it would be in your best interests to just stay away as well, oh yeah and also, women and love and my ideas of the way love should be and feel and is have completely messed with my brains and my heart and my head and my stomach and every other pgysical aspect of me, yo, men and women really are from someplace different, a different plain of existence or something

The only thing that prevents you from having a happy life is freedom. Like things such as jail. Otherwise you always have a choice. Wife nagging you. Tell her if she doesnt stop bitching she can go find another man that will put up with her crap. Job Sucks? Quit. go on welfare and buy a surfboard. Unless you are physically restrained you always have a choice to live happy.
edit: The wife not having sex with you... well i am in the same boat. That fact is she is good in every other way so i figure i just need to get the sex part somewhere else.

Societal expectations of a 'man'. I don't want to exercise my abs until they look like plastic! I don't want to surpress my emotions. I don't want to justify my sexuality!
As for the women's studies category, I think it is important, because it is undeniable that women have been objectified and opressed in recent history (arguably still are). Apart from the need to acknowledge this and prevent inequality recoccuring, I think that 'gender' should be forgotten about - it is a societal construct - gender is not bioligical; only 'sex' is.

Issues, problems, dilemmas, etc do NOT prevent one from being happy. Inability to control one's state of mind during any of the aforementioned life events however, may prevent one from being happy. We are but animals that work, eat, fornicate and die. Might as well keep it simple and love every minute of it.

Roads full of cars. Beaurocrats and so many silly forms. Impersonal towns full of strangers.
The illegality of living a simple life on the land ,and having to live in a pile of bricks !

1)No reasonable mortgages for single people.
2) Trust - who is willing to keep going when the going get's tough
instead of always focussing on being happy at every minute of the day!
3)Having to settle for someone who you don't fancy , just because you are not the "in"thing!
I could go on all day!

My biggest problem would be financial. We never seem to have enough income and the consumer environment in the US right now is the pits. Nothing like getting raped on energy.

Finally, someone who acknowledges that men are human too.
For me the biggest issue is what I have been told, what I have
been taught no longer apply.
Guess I will just have to find my own way now.
Regards...:)
