I like to type a key search word on http://www.google.com and then I usually click the "GROUPS" link. Its a forum full of answered tech questions that comes in very handy for me.

I also go to http://java.sun.com often when I need a java reference guide.

Ziff Davis has been around as long as Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. You can't go wrong here. Plus there are numerous links to many techie resources.
