I think you should just go ahead and ask! After all, you’re friends right? If you like him too, go ahead and enjoy a good relationship! Else, be honest about it and say you’d rather remain friends. That is normal between friends!Be flattered that you are someone special for him but don't change your treatment to him until he will court you and you did not mention you like him too! If you like him as your BF it is a blessing in disguise but if you like him as friend only,just tell him let us be friend for now because I enjoy your company,If he insist it is time for you to decide not to see him again!You have your rights and decision no one should be abrupt with your life!Good luck!

just wait. if he likes you , let him come and say that.till that time remain as bestfriends, and if he does come and admit that he loves you, tell him you want to think,or else just tell him what you feel for him.if you want to refuse, tell him that as your best friend, he ought to be understanding,and should remain your bestfriend.
