I sometimes wish not so much that i could do things differently, but that things hadn't happened that did happen, over which i didn't feel at the time like i had any control over. If it hadn't happend i know i would be a more 'whole' person, but i can't say if i'd be nicer, happier etc.
But the truth is, wishing is for dreamers, and they never come true anyway, so you've got to dust your self down, and get on with whatever life throws at you; try and acceot every event as a challenge - can you fight back, and come out stronger, without losing the essential you? Make it an aim, not just a question

Yes, everybody does.
Unfortunately, given that we are only human, if we had a second chance we would probably make different mistakes.
The big thing people should regret today is that things were not done differently in the past to avoid global warming. We must all do everything possible to save the environment as this is now a desperately urgent problem.
Striving for a better future is an essential part of living a worthwhile human life.

I think everyone has some point of their life they'd like to change. I know I've got a few. Our experiences get turned into advice for our children/nephews/nieces.
The present isn't usually that bad ..... think of all the really bad issues in the world, starving children, war etc, put your troubles next to that ....... I doubt they seem so bad.
There's no such thing as a bad experience, they all make us grow stronger. They make you do the right thing next time.
Isn't there a famous quote about don't regret what you do, regret what you don't do?????

Not me. I wish I hadn't done some things quite the way I did, but then, had I done them differently, the person I am today would not exist. The only time I have control of is the present, so I do my best to live in the "now".

I think I had better leave things as there were/are. After all how do I know that by changing one small thing in my past the whole course of my future would be changed - and I may not like the new future. This is the only life you have - mistakes and all make it what it is.

everybody wishes that anyways
i would go back to a particular time ,when i missed a chance to ask a girl out. LOL
but having that...we cant stop or alter anything , everything has date/time already fixed.Obviously altering past could mean 10000 nukes bombardment at the same time at the same place LOL

Sadly enough we can't go back and change things, and many people live with the weight of past mistakes. There is someone who can go back and that's Jesus, when He revealed Himself to me, I realised how much of a mess I had been in and allowed Him to take me back and heal the pain of my past mistakes. In Him all things are possible, and that's what I have found to be true. Just pray. It's easy.

everyone does at some point in there life-but as some wise old people say''everything happens for a reason'' whatever it is you are regretting over- the feelings of ''what if?'' fade over time even more so when something good happens that wouldn't have happened had you done different before!!
hope that makes sense
I know that its easier to say these things then to actually believe them at the time of feeling at your lowest about something, but in time you will see

I used to, but I now live by the premise that "no experience in life is wasted" as long as you learn from it.
