I hate assumptions period. Assumptions are the Mother of all Fuckups, and when you assume, you make an "a$$ out of u (you) and me".

-The assumption that since I am young and female, Iim a bad driver - actually I'm a BLOODY good driver!

-The assumption (heres an old one) that since I am blonde, I am dumb. I hate that!

-The assumption that my son is my little brother, that really bugs me. I was quite young when I had him, and I look younger than I am, but can't they ask first??!!

People do make quite a lot of assumptions, and it annoys me, I try not to assume anything, I like to be sure!

As a lawyer, a lot of people make assumptions about me. That's just ignorance.

What I find most annoying, especially on Answers, is that my answers are motivated by anger or other maliciousness, such as for humiliation or hate. There are a lot of people who can't take criticism of any kind.

I'm a student, so the most annoying assumption I find is when people judge your intelligence by your marks (which anyone who studies can get in India.)

Because I'm a girl I am stupid or incompetent. Also people think that because I used to dance I was also a cheerleader and there is a huge difference between dancing and cheerleading (I know this isn't really an important stereotype but it still is irritating). Also because I am a strong person I can be labeled as a ***** because I don't take c**p from anyone.

no,.not alot of wrong assumptions are made about me but the ones they do misinterpet are..
*that I am a woman with kids or should be at my age(physically never could)
and if ya dont have kids you dont have motherly instincts..which I do!
*and since I am a woman I am ignorant....far from the truth!

I get that alot! People assuming I'm a snotty stuck up b*tch. I get people telling me all the time...OMG! you are so nice and funny and down to earth. I thought you were so stuck up when I first saw you. I'm shy!

Shy! So to try to overcome that, I had a plan one Saturday night to smile and say hello to anyone who made eye contact. Nothing sexual, no come ons. To anyone and everyone. By mid evening I had met some really cool folks...couple of girls from a roller derby team, one with a black eye. They had great! stories. So anyway I walked up to the group of guys and introduced myself. One of the guys says, "I DON'T TALK TO WOMEN LIKE YOU" and stormed off. Wow, talk about being judgmental.
