Hi,
According to some scientist there must be.
They are not 100% sure but the probabilities of their calculations shows there must be at least 10,000 other life forms just in our galaxy.

My personal belief is the universe is teeming with life. Millions of stars and planets and the Earth is the only one capable of supporting life? I don't think so. And forget the religious crap!

Probably so. However, the distances and time required for travel make it unlikely that we will ever encounter other intelligent life. i.e. Alien civilizations might notice our planet and send a ship to investigate, but by the time they get here, does their civilization still exist? They might not even know because of speed of light limitations to communication.

Probably, I doubt we are alone in the universe, but we may always be too far from any other life forms.

we haven't found life yet, but there are areas in the universe (even in our own solar system) where evidence of water has been found, thus creating conditions in which some forms of life could survive (Mars, for example, and one of Jupiter's moons, Europa)

Not sure, but that new movie called "Transformers" (comes out 7/7/07) was about one of our spacecrafts 'crashing' on Mars, and they said it crashed but apparently it didn't and something bad happened and the movie trailer said something like it was our only warning...lol CrEePy! But isn't 'Transformers' a cartoon? lol
