Biogas is solar, it's based on photosynthysis.

The sun is the only source of energy for this planet. Fossil fuels are just stored sunlight.

So as our stored reserves are used up how will we manage on just the current account from the sun.

biogas is not against photo-voltaic or solar thermal collectors, they are just suitable for different situations.

The current comercial production methods for biomass depend on large fossil fuel inputs as agro-chemicals, farm machinery, processing and transport. Some systems use more energy to produce than they provide. also when you grow biomas you can't grow food or other essentials. The amount of good arable land will fall soon due to climate change, poor irrigation, loss of topsoil through intensive agriculture etc.
How will you choose between feeding people and providing bio-gas for energy wasteful lifestyles of the rich?
