Whatever is forbidden, the more enticing it becomes.

There are many reasons for that. The first one is one of confidentiality: basically the man has more to lose than the girl if the relationship becomes public, what is more doubtful in the case of a single man. Then comes an issue of complicity: the idea of sharing secrets with someone that, again, has more to lose from a discovery than oneselves. The third reason is one of freedom: married men need to have a light touch while single men may become obsessive not having a wife to cope with; moreover ending the story is much more clean as the menace of informing the wife is a very strong one. Then there is the self-assurence coming from seducing a man from another woman. Then there is the relief from the risk of making a big affair: a married man has already another woman interested in him while a single man, after all, may have no woman interested in him but ourselves.

Well, you picked the right category for your question: that IS a myth. Nobody wants to be the "other woman"--it means weekends alone, never being able to call him at home, and being stuck in a dead-end relationship without the potential of establishing a family of your own...

not all young women!
most of the time it is coz the married MAN makes a pass at the young woman and feeds her a whole lot of bullsh*t like he's going to get devorced and marry her.

and if it isn't the man thenit's just like forbidden fruit... think of it like addam and eve in the garden of eden...

They do not have to worry about the man becoming attached to them . Or maybe it is because they feel that the married man has more experience .

Only women with a fear of commitment or extremely low self esteem do that.
