they are playing well at the moment, almost 65 without lost and very fast game is there.

The main reason behind this is the lack of confidence due to the absence of the experienced and good batsmen like Trescothick, Vaughan and Flintoff. When these players are absent the other teammates gets over pressure and more burden will be falling on them.

In this case the batsmen looses the concentration and finally the wicket.

The England Cricket Board and Duncan Fletcher, the coach should look into this serious matter.

We are still in "australia mode". During the ashes run rates were 4 an over, which is phenomenal during test matches. This is partly because Aussie bowlers attck all the time and therefore are capable of going for runs.

Other test sides play a more cautios game, looking to contain and this leads to frustration in our batsmen as they are not scoring as freely, thus playing risky shots and giving their wickets away.

Not doing too bad, it is 3 for 118 at lunch. I would say one of these two (Cook & Collingwood) really needs to go on and make a big one though. That is where they have been lacking lately, someone getting a big hundred, withthe others getting 30's 40's and 50's...

Good question...England were going great guns at 56 for no loss and suddenly they have lost 2 wickets..

English batsmen tend to thorw away their wickets- a fact Duncan Fletcher should analyse.

Perhaps a lose in concentration, a moment of madness. Trying to get past 50. Duncan Fletcher must sort it out

before this match (england v pakistan) you could say lots of injuriys vaughen, flintoff, giles, s.jones, anderson, but they are makin mistakes when they are in and set they need to be a little more patient.

I believe they do not play enough matches to fully concentrate and know how to play a long innings.
