Look at your in-box, under the list of senders, subjects, dates, etc. You will see a check box called "Check All". Click it to put an X in it. Notice how X's appear in all the check boxes to the left of each sender & subject? If there are any messages you want to save, make sure you click their check box to remove the X. Then click the Delete button (just below Check All), and every message with an X will move to your trash folder.

Last of all, empty your trash. On the left side of your screen, you see a list of folders. Click the word 'empty', in brackets [...] and blue font, right after the word trash. This disappears the stuff forever and frees up storage space for you.

Don't worry about asking basic questions. We were all newbies once.

if you're talking about your Yahoo mail...do this...

open your Inbox. scroll down to the last mail item on that page....under the last mail item and above the delete button is a " check all " ...click that.....

this will only check all the items on that page....but, then you can hit the delete button and at least do it 25 at a time...instead of 1 at a time

edit:

note, there isn't and " empty " for the Inbox, like there is for the Bulk folder......they should have one though

I don't think you'll be able to delete all of your e-mails at once, but you can go 25 at a time by clicking the box just to the left of the "Sender" header and clicking "Delete" right above it. It's not a mass deletion, but at least it's 25 times quicker than one at a time!

If you are using Yahoo mails, click on "all" option at bottom, and then you can delete that. You might need to repeat this for each screen/page shown.

If your client is outlook, then goto edit menu, select "Select All", you can delete them.

If your client is Lotus Notes, I dont know - I dont use that product.
