Beckham is a good footballer. not great but good. but he can still take a better free kick than any other player in the world.

Beckham has some special skills, like the fantastic accuracy with which he can cross the ball. He also has limitations, like lack of speed.
Beckham has exemplary commitment to the teams he plays for. He currently deserves praise for the dignified way in which he relinquished the England captaincy.
I am a bloke so I cannot comment on Beckham's looks. However, I deplore his prominent bad taste tattoos, particularly the one reaching his neck that cannot be hidden under conventional clothing. It sets a bad example for such a prominent person to have irretrievably spoiled his body this way. I don't think Beckham's tattoos will look at all nice when he's 60.
Most men wouldn't mind being married to Posh Spice!

I think he is a nice guy, but not bright enough to have decent taste in women e.g. not weasel faced chavs. I see him as a talented footballer, and he is reasonably cute although I would choose someone brighter. I really liked him after seeing him on TV with some little ill girl who was attached to a drip, the Queen was there and pretty much ignored her, while David Beckham cuddled her and spoke to her. He would definitely be the better parent of the two.

David Beckham is one of England's true ambassadors for the game of football. Renowned for his spectacular goals and his celebrity lifestyle, he is an idol and hero to many.
Fashion icon...No,,just feathering his nest for future years,nobody,would turn down a lucrative money offer,and why should they? If some think he's "got it" why not use it?
Handsome? To some, yes,to me,he's nothing special.
As for the MAN, David Beckham,I admire him. He's come from being hot-head to a responsible,dedicated footballer and family man. He and his wife raise/give millions to charity,and I personally think he does not deserve some of the criticism he's given.Some need to open their eyes further.

I think he's more famous for his good looks (fashion icon) than being a truly legendary footballer. But at least he's talented enough to justify his popularity unlike some people who are simply famous for being famous.
